Celeste Santoni received the Ruby Award from Soroptimist of Woodland. The Ruby Award recognizes women in our community who help other women through their occupations and/or volunteer work.
Celeste Santoni is a Critical Care Nurse Manager, Woodland Memorial Hospital, Dignity Health and when she is not taking care of patients, she is busy actively participating in efforts to improve the lives of others.
Celeste has been instrumental in the education of ER staff to identify possible victims and women at risk of becoming trafficked. She is a dynamic speaker and has educated the public, first responders, and medical providers about human trafficking in Yolo County and beyond.
Celeste is personally making a difference in Yolo County and we feel she exemplifies the attributes of the Soroptimist Ruby Award.
